Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 2,132 metres above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the worlds steepest cog railway in summer. It features a terrace with panoramic views over the Swiss Alps and the bay of Lucerne.
The restaurant serves typical Swiss specialities. Half-board includes breakfast and a 4-course dinner.
All rooms in the Bellevue Hotel have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and offer panoramic views.
The hotel can be reached by cable car from Kriens or by cogwheel train (only in summer) from Alpnachstad. Please plan your arrival in advance and be aware of the current timetable.
The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 11:00.
Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableway from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer until the end of October and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedules in advance.
The hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad, except during the winter season. Please check the schedules in advance.
The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds.
The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation.
